Cycling for weight loss? Is it possible?

Only 30 minutes’ drive from the capital city of Lombok, Senggigi may not be as popular as Gili Islands or Mount Rinjani. However, it remains one of the most charming tourist hubs in Lombok. Infinity now operates three new mountain bike tours in Lombok, one of them is called ‘Senggigi Loop’. As the name suggests, the ride starts and finishes at the beautiful Senggigi Beach.

Here are some places that will be visited on our ‘Senggigi Loop’ tour.

Senggigi Beach

The Senggigi beach is unspoiled and blissful. It has white sand with clear turquoise water. The beach is surrounded by cozy accommodations, and also lively cafés and restaurants. It’s very possible to spend the afternoon surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving here. Or just enjoy the exotic sunset while you lie down on a comfy chair drinking fresh young coconut water.

Mount Pusuk

Besides the beach, there is also a mountain in Senggigi named Mt. Pusuk. The scenery is amazing – large tropical trees, steep cliffs, and we can even see the beauty of North Lombok’s ocean from here. The winding road that divides the ridge of the hills is perfect for your mountain biking adventure. Apparently, there are ‘little friends’ that will welcome tourists as they enter the Pusuk area. The monkeys are friendly and will not do any harm unless you disturb them.

Malimbu Hill

Located 10 km from the northern area of Senggigi Beach, Malimbu is one of the best places to enjoy a sunset in Lombok. After a long ride to the top of the hill, you can finally rest your sight and mind with the view of pristine beach and massive tropical forest around the coast. Many people also say you can see the Gili Islands from up here. Prepare your camera because the elevation from the beach enables you to capture breathtaking and memorable pictures to bring home with.
