Hike & Bike Mt. Batur – two day of an unforgettable experience
Ever wondered what a volcano looks like up close? Ever wanted to hike up a volcano? Ever wanted to cycle through the lava stream of a volcano? Ever wanted to bathe in the rejuvenating hot springs of a volcano? Ever wanted to spend the night with a beautiful volcano as a backdrop? Ever wanted to do some great mountain biking in Bali?

Here are some places that will be visited on this tour:
Day 1 – Cultural visit to Puncak Penulisan Temple
On the way up to the Mount Batur, we’ll visit a local coffee plantation and Puncak Penulisan Temple. The temple is dedicated to Shiva, one of the third God in the Hindu triumvirate. It was used as a meditation place for the kings in the past. Located at the top of the hill, this temple has a cool and refreshing atmosphere.

Day 1 – Ride around the outer rim and caldera of the Mount Batur
This is the starting point of the first day and you may expect some of Bali's best single track riding!
Today ride goes around the outer rim of the volcano with amazing views of the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other. Later, we’ll descend into the caldera and ride through the black lava stream where the latest eruption of Mount Batur happened in the year 2000.

Day 1 – Relax your mind and body at Toya Devasya Hot Spring
After the fun ride, we’ll visit Toya Devasya Hot Spring. You may relieve your sore muscles by relaxing and soaking in one of Bali’s best natural hot springs. Located on the edge of Lake Batur, this hot spring will let you enjoy the panoramic beauty of the majestic Mount Batur and surroundings.

Day 2 – Hiking to the summit of Mount Batur
To witness Mount Batur at sunrise is to experience one of the most endearing displays of the earth's eternal awakening!
Our trekking guide will come and pick you up at your accommodation around 3 am for the hike to the summit of Mount Batur. It takes about 2,5 hours to reach the summit where we will provide a light breakfast with coffee or tea.

Day 2 – Downhill cycling to the beautiful Ubud
Around 9.30 am you’ll meet our cycling crew again and we start our mountain bike program. We’ll cycle mostly downhill on a wide mixture of terrain all the way down to Ubud where our adventure ends!
From here we can transfer you back to your accommodation in the South or you can spend the night in Ubud.
