1. Visiting one of the top 10 best beaches in the world for surfing – Pantai Bangko-bangko

The tropical beach has wide terrain conditions – flat, bumpy, and also hilly with the view of enormous rocks around the seashore. Tourists are invited to swim, sunbathe, snorkel, scuba, and surf here.

Known as ‘Desert Point’ by professional surfer, this beach has a type of wave that is so hollow that it is capable of throwing up to 300 meters. Meanwhile, the height can reach 3 meters!

2. Unwind and relax at a very laid back and quiet island – Pulau Gili Gede

Gili Gede is one of the biggest islands among the Gili Islands. As a quiet island, it is only inhabited by 450 families. The friendliness of the people here will make you feel at home that makes you want to stay longer in this breathtaking island.

The beach has crystal clear water with fairly calm currents, so you can snorkel and dive with ease here. However, if you don’t want to get wet, you can use the service of fishermen to ride their boats around the coastline!

3. Adore the beautiful scenery of Lombok’s hidden gem – Pantai Selong Belanak

Located on the southern side of the island, Selong Belanak beach is best visited before the sunset – around 04.00 p.m. At that time, you will be treated by the arrival of dozens of buffalos that are herded by local people.

You cannot find any permanent buildings on the seashore – there are a lot of traditional-style warung (stall) built using bamboo and leaf. Make sure you try the local roasted corn before you go home!

4. Explore one of seven pink beaches on the planet – Pink Beach

Another bucket-list item in Lombok is visiting the famous Pink Beach. The rare color of the sand comes from a microscopic animal called Foraminifera, which produces a red pigment on the coral reefs. And when the tiny fragments of red coral combine with the white sands, it produces the soft pink color. You may prepare your best dress before going here to get some stunning selfies.
