Canggu to the Mountains
Our bike ride commences right outside the coastal town of Canggu, and takes a Northern course into the Tabanan province. This region of Bali is an awe-inspiring sight, yet rarely explored by tourists. We'll ride through picturesque local villages, rice paddy fields, and breathtaking mountain scenery. The initial part of the journey spans 45km, primarily uphill, though with a gentle gradient. Our lunch stop will be at the UNESCO-listed rice paddy field terraces of Jaliluwih, located at an altitude of 700m.
Following lunch, we'll head back South for another 45km towards Canggu, where the tour concludes. Typically, the tour concludes around 3-4pm, contingent on our cycling pace and the number of breaks we take.

Intermediate: Tours are suitable for riders with a good fitness level. Trail surfaces are a wide mix between paved roads, broken tarmac roads, but may include some uneven terrain, narrow trails and some single track. Climbs and descents are moderate but require some skill. Riders with minimal mountain bike experience but who have good road biking skills and a strong fitness level, along with an adventurous spirit, should be suitable for our intermediate gravel road bike tours.

Fully supported bike day tour. Maximum 4 riders per car and we provide 1 senior cycling guide per 5 guest.
Cycling Conditions
XC and broken tarmac roads. We cycle about 90km on small paved back roads, narrow concrete paths, beautiful single track and some sections of dirt tracks. You should have reasonable bike skills to be able to navigate the varying terrain and narrow tracks. You should wear comfortable shoes appropriate for cycling for this ride.

Pick Up & Drop Off
Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Sanur, Legian, Canggu and Kuta area's: 07.00am, expect to be back at your hotel around 04.00pm (but this may be variable by group)

Bikes
New model 2022 Polygon 29'er hardtail bikes, 2023 Polygon Siskiu D full suspension bikes, or 2022 Polygon hardtail E-bikes. The bikes come with standard flat pedals, but we can also mount your pedals onto our bikes.
** We now have 2022 Polygon hardtail E-bikes available as well. These are pedal-assisted e-bikes and work as any regular bicycle, but when you pedal, the electric engine assists in moving the bike forward. Our E-bikes are suitable for our Jatiluwih to the Sea and our Mount Batur to Ubud (both Light Off-Road and Soft Adventure) only and not for any of our advanced rides.
Prices & Availability
The price for our day rides depends on how many people are joining the ride in the same minivan and what type of mountain bike you use:
2-5 People: US$100 or 1,450,000IDR per person - (2022 Polygon 29'er hard tail mountain bike or 2023 Polygon Siskiu D full suspension bike )
Six people or more: don't hesitate to get in touch with us about availability and group rates
Children up to 16 years old (all children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian)US$60 or 850.000IDR - (adult bikes in size S with 27,5 wheels suitable for children from 157cm, or any regular adult bikes)
** BRINGING YOUR BIKE? Here with your own bike in Bali or visiting from Java and bringing your own bike? You can join in on any confirmed day ride at US$60 or IDR850,000 per person.This includes lunch, pick-up and drop-off transfers, any entrance fees, and a mountain bike guide.

Please indicate on the booking form what method of payment you prefer.After completing the booking form, we will send you an online payment link. Your booking is confirmed once we have received your payment through bank transfer or credit card using PayPal.
We can also allow cash payments (IDR) for last-minute bookings where we still have space available (subject to availability).
