Cultural Ubud Ride
Join our incredible day tour to experience the very best of Ubud's cultural highlights. We'll take you to 5 unique places, including a 25 to 30km bicycle ride between three of the sights. But don't worry, the ride won't be challenging, and we'll take you through quiet back roads, local villages, and picturesque rice paddy fields.
We'll pick you up at 7am in the South of Bali or 8am if you're staying in Ubud. Our first stop will be at Tegalalang's stunning rice field terraces. Then, we'll transfer to Tirta Empul, a temple that has been attracting Balinese worshipers for over a thousand years, thanks to its sacred spring with healing powers.
Next, we'll start our bike ride, which is only a short 5km to the Gunung Kawi Temple. This temple is one of Bali's oldest and largest ancient monuments, with 10 shrines cut out of the rock face to imitate actual statues.
After that, we'll continue our ride with a beautiful 15km section to the Goa Garba Temple. This place of meditation is estimated to have been built during the reign of King Jaya Pangus in the 12th century.
Finally, we'll reach our last bike ride section, which can be another 5 to 10km, depending on the group's pace. After that, we'll enjoy a refreshing young coconut and maybe even witness a local farmer climbing a tree to cut down the coconuts.
Our final stop of the day is the Tegenungan Waterfall, a unique spot surrounded by lush greenery and boasting heavy water flow. It's the perfect place to swim and cool off after an incredible day out. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the best of Ubud's cultural highlights!

Difficulty
Easy/Green: Tours are suitable for riders with an average fitness level that engage in some form of regular exercise. Descent are typically of short duration and if needed can be easily walked. Most of the riding is done on quiet back roads, You do need to watch out for the occasional obstacle such as potholes and sections of broken tarmac. Everyone that feels comfortable riding and handling a bicycle should be able to enjoy these rides.

Cycling Conditions
Join us for a soft adventure cycling experience! We will be riding on peaceful back roads covering a distance of approximately 25km. It is important to have a decent skill level in cycling to handle the different types of terrain.
Please wear comfortable shoes suitable for cycling. Please be aware that there are a number of steps leading up to the cultural sites.
The total distance covered will be between 25 to 30km. The starting altitude is 300m and the finishing point is at 200m, with a total climbing of 50m.
Pick Up & Drop Off
Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Kuta, Legian, Canggu and Sanur area's: 07.00am, Ubud area's: 08,00am, expect to be back at your hotel around 04.00pm (but this may be variable by group)
Bikes
2024 Polygon Siskiu xc full suspension bikes with dropper post.
The bikes come with flat (standard) or Shimano SPD (by request) pedals.
** We also have hardtail E-bikes available for this ride.
Prices & Availability
The price for our joining in day rides depends on how many people are joining the ride in the same minivan:
- 01-05 People: US$90 or 1,450,000IDR per person - (2024 Polygon Siskiu xc or trail full suspension bike or Polygon hardtail e-bike) ** ** This tour is 150,000IDR higher than our regular scenic rice field rides because of the included entrance fees, thank you for your understanding.

Children up to 16 years old: US$60 or 1,000.000IDR (2024 Polygon Siskiu xc or trail full suspension bike)
