Itinerary
Day 1 | Sanur | Arrival Day | 20km
When you arrive at the airport our team will be waiting for you, simply look for the sign with your name on it. The drive into Sanur takes approximately 25 minutes depending on traffic. Our hotel is located right on the beach and there is a great walking path just in front of the hotel where you take take a beautiful stroll all along the beach. We will head out for a beautiful 20km warm up ride all around Serangan island which is only a short transfer away from Sanur. We leave the hotel at 3pm. In the evening we will head out for an included welcome dinner. (D)
DAY 2 | Morning transfer from Bali to the Ijen plateau | Afternoon mountain bike ride | 30km
Let the adventure begin! We will start around 06am. It is a 3 hours drive to Gilimanuk, the village from where the ferry leaves for Java. The ferry crossing takes about 1 to 2 hours depending on traffic to get into the harbour. From the boat you will already be able to see Mount Ijen and the Ijen Plateau. After the crossing we stop at a local restaurant at the seashore for lunch. Then we continue to drive to the Ijen Plateau (1 hour). We will start our mountain bike ride around 2 pm and will be on the bikes for about 3 hours cycling through the hills of the Ijen plateau. We will ride through plantations (fruit and coffee) and visit a beautiful waterfall. We spend the night at our local accommodation in the town of Banyuwangi not far from Mount Ijen. (B L)
DAY 3 | Hike to the rim of the crater of Mount Ijen 6km | Afternoon Transfer to Mount Bromo
At 04am we will transfer with our car to Paltuding. This is the point from where we start trekking to mount Ijen. It takes about an hour to trek the 3 kilometers to the top. On the edge of the crater you can enjoy a panorama at Ijen crater lake. You can also see a lot of sulfur miners with loads of around 80 kg on their shoulders walking up the rim and down the slopes of the mountain. After you enjoyed the Ijen crater lake, there is still time to visit the sulfur factory where the sulfur is purified and packed. Around noon we will make the 5 hour drive all the way to Mount Bromo where we will stay overnight. Our accommodation is located at 2000m altitude. Please bring some warm clothes as it is cold in this area especially at night. (B L)
Day 4 | Cycle around Mount Bromo area | 30km
Today we will head out on a beautiful bike ride that will take us all the way around the Bromo National Park. From our hotel we will bike down into the sea of sand from where we will cycle towards Mount Bromo, we will then climb out of the valley again and ride up the caldera on the other side, from there our path leads us all the way around the volcanoes and back to our hotel. The riding is not technical but there is a bit of climbing to deal with. (B L)
Day 5 | Sunrise tour of Mount Bromo National Park | Hike to the crater of Mount Bromo | Surabaya Airport transfer and flight back to Bali
We will get up at 3am to head out to see the sun rise over the astonishing landscape. After coffee or tea we will go with our 4x4 into the sea of sand and drive towards one of the most amazing spots to witness the sunrise over the National Park. The jeeps will drop us off at a narrow trail and from here we will use our mountain bikes to cycle for about 8km to a secret spot with the best views and avoid the crowds. Afterwords we will decent again into the sea of sand and drive to the foot of Mount Bromo, where will will hike all the way to the top to see the crater and the steam coming out of it. Around 09am we will transfer back to our hotel for breakfast. After enjoying the amazing views again we will make our way back to the airport of Surabaya (3 hours) where a short 1 hour flight will bring us back to the island of Bali. Overnight in Sanur in our hotel located right on the beach. (B L)
Day 6 | Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan | 40km
For the next 2 days we will be visiting the neighboring islands of Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. Our adventure will start at the harbor of Sanur from where we will take the fast boat (45 min) to Nusa Penida. Ones on the island of Nusa Penida we will cycle all the way to the Broken Beach; and the Billabong;. After exploring these unique wonders of nature we will continue riding to Crystal Bay which is one of the highlights and best spots for snorkeling on the island. From here we will transfer by car to the harbor where we will take a local boat (20 min) to the neighboring island of Nusa Lembongan. We will spend the next two nights at our accommodation on Nusa Lembongan (B L)
Day 7 | Cycle in Nusa Lembongan | 30km
In the morning we will cycle all the way around the island of Lembongan and stop at the most beautiful beaches along the way. Our day in Nusa Lembongan will end with a visit to the mangrove forest. The afternoon is yours to relax by the beach. We overnight again on Nusa Lembongan. (B, L)
Day 8 | Mount Abang to Amed | 50km
An early morning boat transfer will bring us back to the island of Bali. Today's ride will bring us from Mount Abang in the center of Bali to Amed all the way in the North-East of the island. After a little warm up climb we will head into the rugged center of the island cycling through local fruit plantations. The first 25km is off road until we hit the main road. From here it's another 25km to the charming fishing villages of Amed. Our accommodation is located right on the beach and there is great snorkeling right in front of the hotel. (B L)
Day 9 | Free morning in Amed, free afternoon in Pemuteran
In the morning we will take it easy and relax in Amed, around noon we will check out and make the drive with our support vehicle all the way to Pemuteran located in the North-West of Bali. The drive takes about 3 hours but there is plenty of stuff to see and we will have a few stops along the way. We stay overnight at our hotel located not far from the beach (B L).
Day 10 | Pemuteran to Menjagan Island | 35km
Time to hit the trails again. Today we will ride from our hotel all the way to the local harbor on the most beautiful of road trails. We end up with a snorkeling trip to the island of Menjagan. No need to pack up today as we will be staying at the same accommodation. (B L).
Day 11 | Jatiluwih to Canggu | 45km
An early transfer will bring us to the Mount Batu Karu (2276m) and the area of Jatiluwih, this area of Bali is not frequently visited by western tourist but will simply take your breath away. We will be on the bikes for about 45km and cycle all the way from Jatiluwih to the coastal town of Canggu where we will stay overnight. After the ride we can visit the famous Tana Lot Temple. One of Bali's most beautiful temples build on a rock in the ocean, at high tide the sea surrounds the temple. That's two world heritage sites in one day! Jatiluwih Rice Terraces and Tana Lot Temple. What more can you want for another great day on the bikes. (B L).
Day 12 | Mount Batur to Ubud | 35km
Today's ride will take us from the outer crater rim of Mount Batur all the way down to Ubud, we will cycle mostly downhill on a wide mixture of terrain, the ride is a little easier today but the scenery is again amazing. We end up right at our accommodation just 5 minutes outside of the busy city center. We should arrive around 3pm in Ubud, time enough for some sightseeing and exploring of Ubud. (B L)
Day 13 | Hike to the summit of Mount Batur | 7 km
Today we will conquer the Volcano of Mount Batur. To witness Mount Batur at sunrise is to experience one of the most endearing displays of the earth's eternal awakening. Our trekking guide will pick you up around 2am. Expect to start hiking around 3am and be back at your hotel around 11.30am and the rest of the afternoon is yours to explore Ubud. (B, L)
Day 14 | Departure Day
Today is departure day and there are no activities planned. Check out time is noon. Please let us know your next destination or flight details and we will arrange an included airport transfer or transfer. (B)

Difficulty
Intermediate: Tours are suitable for riders with good fitness level. Previous mountain bike experience is recommended. Trail surfaces may include uneven terrain and narrow trails, some singletrack, with occasional obstacles (roots, rocks, sand). Hills and descents are moderate and require some skill. Riders with minimal mountain bike experience but who have road biking skills or a strong fitness level, along with an adventurous spirit, should be suitable for an intermediate tour.

Cycling Conditions
We ride on everything from single track, jeep track, dirt roads, farm trails, small paved roads, sandy trails and many more. Please note that you will have lots of uphill sections to cope with. Due to the nature of the trails our support vehicle can't ride with us all the time.
Bikes
New model 2022 Polygon Siskiu D7 full suspension bikes. The bikes come with standard with flat pedals but we also can mount your own pedals onto our bikes.
Departures
You can create your own tour dates. Please note that this offer is subject to availability, must come in a while advance and we can schedule only a limited of trip dates per year.
