Itinerary

Day 1: Denpasar - Maumere (D)

Upon arrival at Frans Seda Airport in Maumere, you will be greeted by our English-speaking guide, who will escort you to your hotel. The hotel is located on the beach, and the rest of the day is free to enjoy.

Day 2: Maumere – Moni, cycling 42km (B/L/D)

Today, you will start with a 1.5-hour ride to Wuring Village, a small fishing village that is located against the backdrop of the impressive Mount Egon volcano. The town is home to the Bugis and Bajo people, who live in traditionally constructed stilt houses. After that, you will head to Sikka Village, renowned for its traditional weaving using organic dyes. From Sikka, we will cycle down to Paga, which will take approximately two hours. Once you reach Paga Beach, you'll enjoy a peaceful moment by the white sandy beach during lunch before going on a leisurely hike to Jopu and Ranggase villages in the afternoon.

Day 3: Moni – Kelimutu – Ende, cycling 60km, (B/L/D)

Prepare for an unforgettable adventure! Rise early at 4:00 am to embark on a thrilling journey to witness the Kelimutu three-colored lakes, one of Indonesia's most spectacular and mysterious attractions. After experiencing a breathtaking sunrise, you will cycle back to your hotel from the Kelimutu parking area to take in the natural beauty of Flores. Following a satisfying breakfast, continue your voyage to Ende by car. For the final leg of your trip, we will get back onto our bikes for a 1.5-hour downhill bike ride from Detusoko to Ende.

Nduaria – Ende : 3 hours, 40 km
Hotel – harbor: 20 minutes, 5 km

Day 4: Ende – Bajawa, cycling 60km, (B/L/D)
Today, you will cycle from Ende to Bajawa and stop in Penggajawa to see the mesmerizing blue pebbles beach. You will then cycle from Raja village to Boawae where we will visit the hot springs of Soa in the afternoon. Finally, in the late afternoon, you will arrive in Bajawa with great accomplishment.

Hotel Ende – Nangapanda: 45 minutes, 20 km
Rowa – Hot spring : 3 hours, 40 km

Day 5: Bajawa – Ruteng, cycling 20km, (B/L/D)
Begin your day with a scenic biking trip from your hotel, and head out by bicycle to explore the traditional villages of Luba and Bena, located just 40 minutes away. These villages are renowned for their impressive stone formations, ancestral shrines, and traditional houses. Bena is particularly noteworthy for providing the best insight into the regional culture of Ngada. After visiting these villages, you will continue your journey towards Aimere, which is known for its production of "Arak." Following lunch, you will see Borong, where you can take a medium hike along the rainforest trail of Ranamese's Crater Lake. Later in the afternoon, you will reach Ruteng, where you can enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6: Ruteng and surrounding, cycling 40km (B/L/D)
After breakfast, you explore the beautiful surroundings of Ruteng on a four-hour ride from Ruteng to Kenda, Ting village, and Watu Alo. Along the way, you'll be able to enjoy the stunning scenery of rice field terraces. In the afternoon, you can visit Ruteng Pu'u, a traditional village that features authentic old houses built in the Manggaraian style.

In the afternoon: Hotel – Ruteng Puu – Hotel: 1 hour (10 km)

Day 7: Ruteng – Labuan Bajo, cycling 53km, (B/L/D)
After having breakfast, you cycle to Golo Curu to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ruteng and the rice fields. From there, you proceed to Cancar to witness the unique Lingko - circular rice fields arranged like a spider web. You can even cycle around these rice fields and pass through the villages of Cancar for about an hour. After that, you continue your journey to Labuan Bajo in Roe, mainly riding downhill until you reach Labuan Bajo, which should take about an hour and a half.

Day 8: Labuan Bajo – Padar island (B/L)

When you arrive at Komodo harbor in Labuan Bajo, West Flores, you will be met by our guide, who will help you transfer to the pier of Labuan Bajo. From there, you will continue your journey by boat and cruise towards Padar Island for approximately 3.5 hours. Upon arrival, you will hike to the island's top to enjoy a stunning view of the land and seascape during sunset. Dinner and overnight stay on an air-conditioned cabin boat will be provided.

Day 9: Padar island – Komodo island – Labuan Bajo (B/L)
We will start our day early by heading to Komodo Island. Once we reach the pier, we will disembark and trek to Banunggulung through the typical dry forest. This will allow us to explore the Island of Komodo dragons and spot other wild animals, such as deer and wild boars, and birds, such as lesser-sulfur-crested cockatoo, collared kingfisher, etc. A local ranger will be leading us through this nature reserve. 

After this, we will visit the Komodo village to explore the activities of the local people on the island. Later, we will return to the boat for lunch while cruising to Pink Beach. We can enjoy swimming and snorkeling at an unspoiled coral reef amongst colorful tropical fish. In the late afternoon, we will proceed back to Labuan Bajo, and upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel.

Day 10: Labuan Bajo – Denpasar (B)
After breakfast, you will go on a morning excursion to Batu Cermin Cave, also known as the Mirror Stone Cave. We will then provide transportation to the airport for your flight back to Denpasar, Bali.

When you are ready to travel, please check with us for prices and availability. Flights from Bali to Maumere typically have one stop and cost around US$180, while direct flights from Labuan Bajo to Bali cost around US$80.
